I was blindsided by the education on offer, introduction of medical and governmental processes, approaches and practices that were harmful to neurologies like ours. We didn’t see it coming. Both devastated, livelihoods lost, ‘up shit creek without a paddle’ drowning, we ditched mainstream thinking, living and practices. We grabbed the bull by the horns, leaving everything and everyone else who thought they knew better.

I am an artist, designer and writer, closet comedian, with past experience teaching graphics at tertiary level. I hosted, attended many public speaking seminars and local workshops, had a quirky talent for and loved appearing in several television commercials.
My child showed me the way to reclaim our PDA Autistic and Neurodivergent identity, culture and flow, where we thrive naturally! Play, laughter and learning happens day and night. Performing impromptu comedy, belting out random sounds, songs, dance and designing and playing side by side with my child on our computers pretending we’re cool staff working at Google is the fun we have every day.
